I feel that Public Art gives an artist a unique opportunity to reach out to the community.  Public art is wonderful tool to bring art to the entire community and not just patrons and collectors. Public art forces the viewer to confront and have an opinion about the work. I feel that this idea breaks through cultural barriers and brings a community closer together
